Vestfold is a small county with lots of farmland, small woodlands and coast. Roe deer are the most common big game, and moose and red deer are found in the forests. Properties are small, so much of the hunting is organised in management units spanning many landowners.
The coast and farmland offer geese, ducks and wood pigeon. With many homes and people about, safe shooting angles and good contact with neighbours are especially important.
